<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle for restraining impairment of a riding feeling when reaching the highest speed by sudden acceleration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This saddle type vehicle has an engine 12, an engine speed detecting part 21 for detecting an engine speed R, a fuel supply device 31, a fuel supply control part 28 for stopping fuel supply from the fuel supply device 31 when the engine speed R reaches a preset engine speed Rn, and a memory 19 for storing a first preset engine speed R<SB>1</SB>and a second preset engine speed R<SB>2</SB>as the preset engine speed Rn. The fuel supply control part 28 temporarily changes the preset engine seed Rn for stopping the fuel supply to the second preset engine speed R<SB>2</SB>from the first preset engine speed R<SB>1</SB>based on a traveling state.
