<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor provided with high reliability by sufficiently supplying oil to a thrust sliding part in a hermetic compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hermetic compressor is provided with a shaft 114 including an oil supply mechanism 122, the oil supply mechanism 122 has a centrifugal pump 123 opened in a lubricating oil 110, a screw groove 124 carved and provided between a main shaft part 112 and a bearing part 121, an annular oil groove 125 provided at an upper end of the main shaft part 112, and a thrust slide part 131 at an upper part of the bearing part 121. The compressor is provided with a slit part 132 guiding the lubricating oil 110 from the annular oil groove 125 to the thrust slide part 131 and a vertical hole 130 bored at an eccentric shaft part 113 and having lower conveyance capacity of the lubricating oil 110 than the screw groove 124. Sufficient lubricating oil 110 is supplied to the bearing part 121 and the thrust slide part 131 and oil film is formed on the sliding part to inhibit metal contact.
