<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle and easy-to-manufacture fall prevention inner cover for a manhole also serving as an auxiliary ladder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fall prevention inner cover 1 for a manhole also serving as an auxiliary ladder comprises: a cover body 2 which has rungs 21, 22 and 23 functioning as the auxiliary ladder, and functions to close a ground opening in a closed state; a supporting portion 3 for supporting the cover body 2 on a cover receiving frame so as to be openable and closable; and a locking portion 4 for locking the cover body 2 in the closed state on the cover receiving frame so as to be unlockable.
