METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING VARIOUS INTELLIGENT HOME SERVICE BASED ON POWER LINE COMMUNICATION USING METERGATEWAY

PURPOSE: A method for supporting various intelligent home services and a system thereof based on power line communication using a meter gateway are provided to supply an additional service of a convergence type at low investment through existing power line network. CONSTITUTION: An HAS(Home Service Aggregator) operates a program for a self-control/auto/direct demand management service through an internet server or an agent terminal(S740, S742). The HSA transmits a command related to a corresponding service to an MGW(Meter GateWay)(S743). The MGW controls the appropriate appliances of the corresponding home(S744). An additional service server supplies the requested service through the MGW through certification about corresponding member information.
