The present invention provides a heating recipient (1) comprising a body (2) having an edge (3) defining an opening (4) in a wall of the body (2), the body (2) being formed of a polymer material, and a sheet (5) of electrically conductive material having a coating (6) on an upper surface. The coated sheet (5, 6) is attached to the edge (3) of the body (2) by means of a fixing zone (7), e.g. a weld, between the coating (6) and the polymer material of the body (2), thereby closing the opening (4). The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing such a heating recipient (2).
