PURPOSE: A method and a system for operating a card for a foreign tourist and a recording medium therefor are provided to issue a card for a foreign tourist object card that a foreign tourist can use a public transportation for free during tour, thereby providing easy access to a tourist site. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating a card for a foreign tourist comprises the following steps. It is checked whether current date information is received from a public transportation unit terminal(1400). The current date information is received from the public transportation unit terminal(1405). An inactivation condition of a free traffic fare function is checked by comparing expected departure date information stored in a card with the current date information(1410). If the inactivation condition of the free traffic fare function is checked, the free traffic fare function or a discount coupon function is inactivated(1415,1420). |
