LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the contrast and optical efficiency by comprising a polarization layer equipped with a reflecting surface and an absorbing surface between a liquid crystal layer and a backlight. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer is arranged on a backlight. The first polarization layer(220) is arranged between the backlight and liquid crystal layer. The second polarization layer is arranged in the opposite direction to the direction facing the backlight of the liquid crystal layer. One side facing the backlight of the first polarization layer comprises a reflective surface(222) and the other side comprises an absorbing surface(221). A reflective film is arranged on an opposite side facing the first polarization layer among surfaces of the backlight.
