<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lifting caster walker allowing a user to easily handle and use the walker and to conveniently perform walking and stand-up motions. <P>SOLUTION: The seat lifting caster walker 1 comprises a liftable seat 4 and a seat lifting assist member 6 for assisting the lifting motion of the seat 4. The seat lifting assist member 6 is composed of an energizing member 43 having an energizing force, a lock mechanism 32 for locking the motion of the energizing member 43, and a lock releaser 37 for releasing the lock operation of the energizing member 43.
