<p>This invention relates to a process for preventing or delaying the development of resistance in populations of Spodoptera frugiperda to transgenic plants expressing a Cry1A and/or a Cry1F protein, comprising providing such plants also with a gene expressing a VIP3 protein, as well as to related uses and methods, such as methods for the production of transgenic plants comprising two different insecticidal proteins that show no competition for binding to the binding sites in the midgut brush border of Spodoptera frugiperda larvae.</p> |
