PURPOSE: A foreign material removal device for a finger type bridge expansion joint device is provided to remove all kinds of foreign materials laminated on a sheet installed on the lower part of the finger type bridge expansion joint device regularly. CONSTITUTION: A foreign material removal device for a finger type bridge expansion joint device comprises a scraper(9), a wire(11), a winding-roll(14), a level fixing roller(12) and a guide roller(13). The scraper slides from a foreign material receptacle installed inside a sheet in the longitudinal direction. One end of the wire is connected to the both ends of the scraper. The winding-roll is connected to the both ends of the wire. The winding-roll slides the scraper in the longitudinal direction. The level fixing roller and the guide roller are installed at rail member to be freely rotated in order to guide the wire. |
