摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of display unevenness due to a material being in contact with a liquid crystal layer or an alignment layer by using a dispersant which has a decomposition temperature higher than the temperature of a colored layer forming step by specified degrees. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device 10 holding a liquid crystal layer 70 between a pair of substrates 110, 120, a dispersant having a decomposition temperature higher than the temperature of a colored layer forming step by -20 deg.C, optionally higher than the temperature of the colored layer forming step is used as a dispersant for forming at least one layer out of plural colored layers 24. It is especially desirable that the dispersant utilized to form the green part of the colored layers 24 has >=200 deg.C decomposition temperature. As organic impurities being incorporated into the colorant due to dispersing of the dispersant, alkyl carboxylic acid, phenyl carboxylic acid or a phenyl carboxylic acid derivative, phenylenedicarboxylic acid or a phenylenedicarboxylic acid derivative and alkyl amine or the like are exemplified.
