OPENING AND SHUTTING METHOD OF DOCK GATE HAVING BALLAST TANK AND DOCK GATE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A dock gate with a ballast tank and an opening and shutting method thereof is provided to rapidly operate the dock gate and increase the efficiency of a dry dock inner wall. CONSTITUTION: A dock gate with a ballast tank(3) is mounted in the inlet side of a dry dock(1). The dock gate is comprised of the ballast tank and a hinge(4). The ballast tank is installed in one side of the dock gate and inhales and discharges the seawater. The dock gate is opened and closed relative to the buoyancy adjustment of the ballast tank. The hinge is installed on the lower part of the dock gate.
