<p>The device has a hollow space partially surrounding a flow channel and provided for accommodating a medium e.g. gaseous medium. An outlet opening e.g. annular gap, connects the hollow space with the flow channel and injects the medium into the flow channel. The outlet opening is closed by a prestressed cover plate (43) that is released against a prestressing during application of a high pressure in the hollow space, such that the cover plate uncovers the outlet opening. The cover plate is pressed radially outwardly in an area of the outlet opening through a plastic deformation. An independent claim is also included for a method for injecting a medium into a flow channel.</p> |
