A lighting device (1), especially for the lighting of the inside space or a inside device part (2) of a car has at least one lighting device (3) and at least one bar-shaped optic fibre (5) located with its light coupling-in face (4) in the light radiation region of the lighting device. On the outer periphery in the direction of the extent of the optic fibre, the lighting device has optical disturbance spot (6) displaced from one another at which light impinging on them inside the optic fibre is scattered and/or reflected. At a peripheral region of the optic fibre opposite the disturbance spot concerned, the light emerges from this. Disturbance spots located near each other are spaced apart from one another by a region essentially free of disturbance spots. Neighboring disturbance spots in the extent direction of the optic fibre have different spacings from one another.
