A power supply device for performing PAM control is provided which is capable of preventing a crack and the like of a PAM output waveform. The power supply device converts alternating current power into direct current power and supplies the direct current power to a load (40). Further, the power supply device comprises a buffer, a controller, a rectifier circuit (10), a smoothing circuit (20), and a switch (SW). The controller detects a predetermined zero cross point, and then uses a predetermined parameter possessed in the buffer in common in the calculation of the timing of the generation of a PAM interrupt pulse over the predetermined period of the alternating current power. |
