PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical formulation containing rosuvastatin and candesartan is provided to treat hypertension and hyperlipidemia and prevent complication. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical formulation comprises immediate release compartment containing a rosuvastatin as a pharmacologically active ingredient, its isomer, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, and a sustained release compartment containing candesartan as a pharmacologically active ingredient, its pharmaceutically acceptable salt or its prodrug.
