PURPOSE: A multimedia system controller and an operating method thereof are provided to improve convenience of user by operating various multimedia systems through a simple control of two wheels and a button part. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia system controller includes a housing(10), a button part(20), a first wheel(30), and a second wheel(40). The housing has a cylindrical shape. A top part of the housing is opened. The button part is inserted to the opened top part of the housing. The button part delivers an electric signal by fixed pressure. The first wheel is formed in a top end of a side surface of the housing. The first wheel delivers the electric signal by horizontal rotation. The second wheel is formed in a bottom end of a side surface of the housing. The second wheel delivers the electric signal by horizontal rotation. Outer circumferences of the first wheel and the second wheel are formed with a curved surface in order to facilitate a contact of a finger of user.
