PURPOSE: A method of displaying a user interface screen for phonebook data registration and a mobile communication terminal thereof are provided to simply configure a phone number registration screen, thereby registering phonebook data without an unnecessary key operation. CONSTITUTION: A controller determines whether storage location selection data is generated in a basic registration screen(S620). The controller determines that phonebook data is inputted when the storage location selection data is not generated or when the second basic registration screen is outputted according to storage location selection(S630). When the phonebook data is inputted, the controller determines whether the input phonebook data is phonebook data in which additional data input is possible(S640). The controller outputs an additional input field using storage space information for storing additional data(S650).
