METHOD ANDSYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC CONVERSION OF EPC CODE ON ONTOLOGY

PURPOSE: An automatic converting method and system for an ontology-based EPC code is provided to effectually process not only the current EPC data but also new-defined EPC data by automatically converting RFID EPC code data to URN formed data. CONSTITUTION: An EPC code ontology manager processor(340) includes a class generator(341) initializing the ontology object attribute, the ontology data format attribute and class information, a class/attribute extractor(342) extracting the class attribute information having the header attribute information of ontology, and URN code converter(346) converting the substantial information of the EPC code to the URN code and generating the URN code.
