PURPOSE: A steel wire unwinder is provided to prevent an unwinding fail of steel wires by controlling the rotation of a bobbin according to the tension acting on the steel wires. CONSTITUTION: A steel wire unwinder comprises a bobbin bracket(130), a bobbin(132), a hydraulic brake(150), a master cylinder(154), a cam(158), a gear box(162), a drive shaft(164), a pair of guide rods(144), a guide block(146), and a rotating plate(148). The bobbin on which a steel wire(110) is wound is installed by a shaft to rotate in the bobbin bracket. One side of the master cylinder is connected to the brake through a hydraulic hose(152), and a cylinder rod is protruded from the other side. The cam makes contact with the cylinder rod. The drive shaft provides a driving force to the gear box. The guide block is raised and lowered by the guide block corresponding to changes in the tension of the steel wire. One side of the guide block is connected to the gear formed on the drive shaft. The rotating plate is installed by a shaft to rotate on the guide block.
