<p>A player reproduces a play list. Every time a current playitem changes, a current substream most suitable for the current playitem is determined as the current substream. For the determination, a current sub-playitem is specified. When a clip file referenced with the current sub-playitem has been downloaded and is in an enable state in a local storage, the playitem is played back. When the clip file referenced with the current sub-playitem is in a missing state in a recording medium or in a disable state, a DataStarved event is outputted and play-back of the playitem is stopped.</p> |
