PURPOSE: An organic pigment composition is provided to conveniently switch hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity by comprising nano-size organic pigment microparticles and not passing a complex process. CONSTITUTION: An organic pigment composition comprises a polymer compound having repeating units represented by chemical formula (1) and/or (2), and organic pigment microparticles. In the formulae, A1 is hydrogen atom or methyl group; and X1 shows a heterocycle group. The heterocycle group is combined with an NH group. The organic pigment microparticles is produced by mixing a solvent in which the polymer compound is dissolved in a good solvent and a medium as a poor solvent for the organic pigment.
