The compounds of formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can be used for the manufacture of a medicament for treating atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, for treating cardio-vascular diseases in mammals and for treating low levels of plasma HDL cholesterol in a mammal.
