The system has a remote relay site (SR) containing text files of rights free books in a specific format. Information processing unit (TI) is integrated or associated to a special machine (MS) and connected to the site by a secured link (LS). The processing unit demands and receives the text file sent from the relay site through the link and controls the machine for printing the text and binding the book manufactured from the file. The relay site is connected to a publisher site (SE1) containing the text files of the books under copy rights and/or publisher's rights.
