The invention relates to pharmaceutics and medicine, namely to a novel chemical compound from the group of quaternary ammonium salts of succinic acid and can be used in preparing medicaments of antidiabetic, diuretic action and for correction of hemorheological disorders. The invention is aimed at preparing a novel chemical compound having an antidiabetic action at low toxicity permitting to act upon a complex of pathologic changes accompanying diabetes millitus due to manifesting diuretic and antiaggregant activity. The proposed purpose is solved by producing a novel chemical compound – 1 deoxy -1-N-methyl ammonium-D-glucitol succinate of formula:The invention is also characterized in that the – 1 deoxy -1-N-methyl ammonium-D-glucitol succinate displays antidiabetic, diuretic and antiaggregant activities.
