<p>The tracking and verification procedure for products in the automotive and other industries solves the problem by a simple and effective integration of an RFID system into the product (1) assembly process so that at the beginning of the production process each product is provided with an RFID label (2). The RFID label (2) provides a unique signature of each product (1). The same label can be read only once, this means that there is no possibility of error so that one RFID label (2) would represent a multiple number of products (1) on the pallet (7). The packing area (3) is provided with a RFID reader (4) and a RFID antenna (5). The software takes note of any added product (1) and warns the worker (6) by providing an audio or visual signal in the case of packing a product (1) which does not belong to the current pallet (7). Prior the process of packing products (1) the pallet (7) is also provided with a RFID label (2). At the end of the packing process the pallet (7) code with all the corresponding product (1) codes is saved in a database (9). After the delivery of the pallet (7) into the warehouse the content of the pallet (7) is checked once again. The doors (10) to the warehouse are equipped with a RFID reader (11) and RFID antennas (12) or a so-called golden eye (13). The pallet (7) code, the product (1) code and the number of the packed products are read and compared to the number, defined for this type of product (1) and the previously read codes at the packing area (3) or codes for this pallet (7) in the database (9). This way the RFID system twice checks the contents of the pallet (7), which is from the so-called golden eye (13) transported into the warehouse or directly to the customer and thus eliminates the possibilities of error.</p> |
