A stand-up pouch having a stand-up pouch body and a stand-up pouch base, especially a standing base, is provided. At least the stand-up pouch body comprises a laminate including at least one unidirectionally stretched film, wherein the thickness of the unidirectionally stretched film is greater than the overall thickness of the remaining further layers of the laminate.
