THIS INVENTION PROVIDES S AZEOTROPE - LIKE COMPOSITIONS AS A KIND OF NOVEL REFRIGERANT. IT IS MADE UP OF APPROXIMATELY 2.92-5.42 MOLE PENTAFLUOROETHANE (R125) AND 11.02-5.93 MOLE DIFLUOROMETHANE (R32). IT BELONGS TO THE THIRD GENERATION REFRIGERANT SERIES HFC.AMONG THESE COMPOSITIONS THE RAW MATERIAL PENTRAFLUOROETHANE (R 125) IS MADE BASED ON CHINESE PATENT APPLICATION NO.99104558.0 AND DIFLUOROMETHANE (R32) IS MADE BASED ON CHINESE PATENT APPLICATION NO.9212368.5.THIS INVENTION FURTHER PROVIDES THE MANUFACTURE PROCEDURE FOR THE NOVEL COMPOSITIONS THAT CAN BE USED AS A "COMMON USE" REFRIGERANTS IN LOW-MEDIUM TEMPERATURE RANGE, AT THE EVAPORATION TEMPERATURE RANGING FROM -45 TO + 10ºC, AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE COMMONLY RECOGNIZED AND WIDELY USED R502 AND R22 REFRIGERANTS. THE OZONE DEPLETION POTENTIAL VALUE OF THE COMPOSITIONS IS ZERO (ODP=0) AND IT IS NON-FLAMMABLE, NON-TOXIC, AND SAFE USE UNDER NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS.
