ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT AND SOUND QUALITY CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct musical sound outputted from an electronic musical instrument so as to be more audible.

SOLUTION: The sound quality control method includes: a step S51 of measuring noise around the electronic musical instrument when musical sound is not outputted from the electronic musical instrument; and a step S53 of correcting a frequency characteristic of the musical sound outputted from the electronic musical instrument so as to emphasize the sound in a frequency range having a large sound pressure level of the noise. The sound corrected in this way is audible in an environment where the noise occurs.
