<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically estimate demands changing according to the lapse of time, that is, the number of sales. <P>SOLUTION: The sales estimation system includes: a sales database; a short term data group generation part for generating the set of short term data by using attributes as sales conditions, and using a label as a first label when one merchandise or service is sold and the label as a second label otherwise; a long term data generation part for generating long term data; a long term classifier generation part for generating a classifier to output scores as a real number value showing first label likeness or second label likeness as a rule for determining a label based on the attributes of long term data; a short term threshold group estimation part for calculating the scores of short term data by using the classifier, and for calculating the threshold of scores; a time series analyzing part for analyzing the time series change in a threshold; a virtual short term data generation part for generating virtual short term data; a score calculation part for calculating scores; a threshold estimation part for estimating a threshold on an estimation object time; and a sales estimation part for estimating the number of sales on the estimation object time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
