<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, in a conventional route switching method, transmission apparatus and network, when route switching is performed between a plurality of communication routes to which prescribed transmission bands are set by a plurality of connected paths, by deleting a part of the paths of a move source route, the band of the communication route is temporarily narrowed and further, when trying to package a bulk buffer memory in order to solve such a problem, the transmission apparatus becomes expensive. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a communication route switching method for switching between a plurality of communication routes to which prescribed transmission bands are set by a plurality of connected paths, in the middle of switching, the number of paths to be connected is controlled so that a total of the number of paths belonging to a move source route and the number of paths belonging to a move destination route may not become less than the number of paths set before starting the route switching procedures. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
