<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the game play utilizing the input of action-like operation such as beating or pushing via a universal game controller such as attached to a home game apparatus without using an exclusive game controller, or preferably, to accurately recognize the input of a plurality of kinds of operation in similar directions of action accompanying the operation input assuming that the detection of acceleration when inputting operation is utilized by using a game controller equipped with an acceleration sensor. <P>SOLUTION: In the game apparatus, a pusher plate 130 is elastically supported in such a way as movable in the vertical direction as an external force receiving part on the upper surface of a case body 102.
