PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having improved eccentric wear resistance at block lands in an outside block land line by making shapes and the arrangement of the block lands more appropriate. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, a plurality of peripheral grooves 2 extending in a tire peripheral direction and a plurality of transverse grooves 3 making the two adjacent peripheral grooves 2 communicate with each other are arranged in a tread 1 to define the plurality of block land lines 5 composed of a number of block lands 4. At least one block land 4 in the outside block land line 6 as the block land line 5 located most outside in a tire cross direction out of the block land lines 5 has a center-narrow structure whose tire cross direction sectional length is gradually smaller as going from tire peripheral direction both ends 7 of the block land 4 toward the center 8 of the block land 4.
