PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accurate and sensitive sequencing in pyrosequencing by allowing complementary strand synthesis reaction to proceed homogeneously and completely in a short time while performing luminescence reaction for a sufficiently long time. SOLUTION: DNA as a sequencing target is immobilized on the surface of a solid supporter 4, and nucleic acid substrates are injected from a dispenser 1 to the supporter site, whereby complementary strand synthesis is performed rapidly and completely in a short time in a small reaction volume. Next, the product together with the supporter is moved into a luminescence reaction solution 6 where luminescence reaction is performed, thus, a DNA complementary strand synthesis reaction site and a luminescence reaction site are completely separated. The supporter surface is also washed by immersing the supporter 4 in the luminescence reaction solution 6 that contains a luminescence reagent and an enzyme that decomposes redundant nucleic acid substrates so as to proceed to a next reaction step.
