<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a correlative relationship between a pair of data rows with no identity. <P>SOLUTION: A correlation calculation method relatively displacing the first data row AN where a plurality of first data A1, A2, ..., are one-dimensionally arrayed, and the second data row BN where a plurality of second data B1, B2, ..., are one-dimensionally arrayed while one-dimensionally changing the amount of displacement, calculating the correlation amount between the first data row AN and the second data row BN, and obtaining the amount of displacement providing the extreme value of the correlation amount, is disclosed. In the correlation calculation method, an inner product calculation is performed between a third data row composed of data of difference of N-th order (An-An+1) between the plurality of first data An and An+1 (N=1, 2, and so on) and a fourth data row composed of data of difference of N-th order (Bn+k-Bn+1+k) between the plurality of second data Bn+k and Bn+1+K, and the calculated calculation value is taken as the correlation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
