PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a user's load for counting the number of signals or the number of roads. SOLUTION: This navigation device determines whether or not a reference spot exists between a guide spot and a spot on the front as long as a first prescribed distance from the guide spot, and outputs a voice message for guiding the guide spot when a moving body arrives at the spot on the front as long as the first prescribed distance, when determined that the reference spot does not exist. When determined that the reference spot exists, it is determined whether the voice message for guiding the guide spot is to be outputted or not when the moving body passes the reference spot based on a distance between the reference spot and the guide spot, speed of the moving body, and a length of the voice message for guiding the guide spot. When determined to be outputted, the voice message for guiding the guide spot is outputted when the moving body passes the reference spot, and when determined not to be outputted, the voice message for guiding the guide spot is not outputted.
