摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of effectively cooling an optical element. SOLUTION: The projector is equipped with: a cooling fan which sends air to the optical element 351; an auxiliary duct 711 and an air duct body 712 which guide the air to a disposed position of the optical element 351; a heat receiving side heat transfer member 7141 which faces the inside of the auxiliary duct 711 and receives heat of the air inside the auxiliary duct 711; a heat radiation side heat transfer member 7145 which faces the outside of the auxiliary duct 711, is connected to the heat receiving side heat transfer member 7141 so as to transfer the heat, and radiates the heat of the heat receiving side heat transfer member 7141 to the outside of the auxiliary duct 711; a thermoelectric transducer which is interposed between the heat receiving side heat transfer member 7141 and the heat radiation side heat transfer member 7145; and heat pipes 81 and 83 which are connected to the optical element 351 and the heat receiving side heat transfer member 7141 so as to transfer the heat.
