PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use limited resources by assigning a CPU, a storage device and the like constituting a computer system to different physical partitions. SOLUTION: In the system for assigning a CPU and a storage device connected to each other through a network to a plurality of physical partitions, a partition control device for controlling division of physical partitions is disposed between the CPU and the network. The partition control device includes: a partition number mapping table for managing which the physical partition the CPU or the storage device belongs to; an address decoder which decodes a system address contained in a memory access request from the CPU to specify the storage device to which the system address in the request is addressed; and a memory access request conversion part which associates an ID identifying the partition control device with information showing the requester, and converts the system address to an address in the storage device.
