<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving assistance device displaying driving assistance information within the visual field of a driver under a condition in which flickering-edged holes in vision of the driver and decreased attention of the driver to the actual scene are minimized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the visual line L of the driver D is within a reference effective visual field A with a reference visual line SL as a center, the display position of an image P of driving assistance information is kept in a stationary position on the extended line of the reference visual line SL. Meanwhile, when the visual line L of the driver D is moved outside of the effective visual field A, the display position of the image P of the driving assistance information is changed to the changed position of an end on a side closer to the stationary position on the extended line of the reference visual line SL. Therefore, it is possible to reduce flickering-edged holes in vision of the driver D and to minimize the decreased attention of the driver D to the actual scene. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
