<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system for creating a system block diagram from inputted configuration information, inputting system requirements, and creating operation policy data for reflecting this to configuration information, and to provide a design support method and a design support program. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The design support system comprises: an input means capable of inputting the system configuration information of a computer; a creation means for creating a system block diagram; and an operation policy setting wizard means capable of inputting system requirements interactively. The design support system refers to the inputted system requirements, an operation policy database, and system configuration information, and creates operation policy data for reflecting on the configuration information.
