PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide men's trunks-type underpants capable of stably holding the private parts. SOLUTION: The underpants have a main body which is composed of a front body having a private part covering part projected to the center, and a back body, and a hold cloth which is sewn on the front body and covers the private part covering part from the external surface. The hold cloth has an upper end place being a position which crosses over a top part of the private part covering part from a lower end of a thigh side, and the upper end place is located within a range of 10% of the vertical total length of a front body center, across a central point of the vertical total length of the center of the front body. Furthermore, an upper end of the hold cloth is made open without being sewn onto the front body, both right and left sides of the hold cloth are located at right and left external rims of the projecting private part covering part, and a power of the hold cloth is larger than that of a cloth of the main body.
