Disclosed are a quick-search method and device for a route-display terminal. The quick-search device for a route-display terminal comprises: a vehicle-position display unit for displaying the position of a vehicle on a map generated on the basis of map data; a quick-search display unit for displaying a quick-search window through which a search word is input on one part of the map; a search unit for searching for a target location corresponding to the search word; and a route-display unit for generating and displaying a route from the position of the vehicle to the target location.
