The parallel connections of solar cell strings are made at portions near solar cell modules, so that the extension cables from the solar cell strings to junction boxes can be reduced to lower the wiring cost and to simplify the wiring work.  Power lines for a solar power generation system comprise power extracting trunk lines having a plurality of branch lines connected in parallel, and solar cell modules connected with the branch lines, and these branch lines have protection units.
