LOW REFLECTION GLASS AND PROTECTIVE PLATE FOR DISPLAY

Disclosed is a low reflection glass having excellent scratch resistance, weather resistance, productivity and appearance. A protective plate for displays is also disclosed. Specifically disclosed is a low reflection glass (10) comprising a glass substrate (12) and an antireflection film (14) formed on the surface of the glass substrate (12). The antireflection film (14) comprises an intermediate layer (16) and an outermost layer (18) sequentially arranged from the glass substrate (12) side, and the outermost layer (18) contains Si atoms, C atoms and O atoms. The C atom content relative to the total 100 mol% of the Si atoms, C atoms and O atoms is 0.5-3 mol%. The intermediate layer (16) is composed of a layer (a) (a high refractive index layer) or a layer (b) (a light absorption layer). The protective plate for displays comprises a supporting body composed of the low reflection glass (10) and a conductive film which is formed on a side of the supporting body on which the antireflection film is not formed.
