The bearing system is used to mount two gearwheels (7, 8) on a shaft (1) using two tapered roller bearings (9, 10). The outer rings (19) are held in the gearwheels and fix them in position axially. A spacer (20) which is attached to the gearwheels is positioned between the outer rings. The inner rings (16, 17) are positioned next to the shaft, which is mounted in two more tapered roller bearings (2, 3). The inner rings (16, 17) of the first set of roller bearings are held apart by a spacer (11,12), one inner ring (17) being next to a mounting (18) fixed to the shaft and the other (16) being next to an inner ring (15) of the second set of tapered roller bearings. |
