<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable images to be properly displayed on an auxiliary display device and a main display device even with a small-scale circuit configuration not having a plurality of image memories. <P>SOLUTION: A rear projection display device 15 is connected to an external monitor 16, so that a display part 12 and the external monitor 16 can simultaneously display identical images according to a signal from the rear projection display device 15. When a freeze button displayed on the external monitor 16 is depressed by a user, image writing to a frame memory 11 for display is not performed. When the freeze button is depressed again after the completion of preparations of an image to be displayed next, image writing to the frame memory 11 for display is permitted, and the prepared image is displayed on the display part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
