<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a failure of a tool due to wear or breakage of a gear of a reduction gear mechanism caused by speed changeover during an operation by disabling the speed changeover until a push operation of a control lever is detected, in addition lower required strength of the gear, and reduce a cost and a weight. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power tool 1 comprises a speed changeover means 3 operable from the outside of a housing 2 including the control lever 4 operable to slide in a speed changeover direction R while pushed, an operation detecting part 6 for detecting a pushed position of the lever 4 to control power supply to a motor 5, a speed changing part 105a for changing a gear reduction ratio of the reduction gear mechanism 8 in conjunction with the sliding operation of the control lever 4 and a slide limiting part 7 for limiting the sliding operation of the lever 4 until the operation detecting part 6 detects the pushed position of the lever 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
