<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting a rotary tool on a machine tool in a quick and easy manner, capable of inhibiting run-out of the tool if rotated at ultrahigh speed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A machining center quickly and easily sucks a part 93 coming into contact of the rotary tool 9 including a blade 91, the part 93 formed in a tapered shape to be capable of being vacuum-sucked and a cylindrical shaft 92 to a contact part 53 at one end of a spindle main shaft 33 by negative pressure, and in addition it rotatably supports the shaft 92 by a supporting mechanism such as a static pneumatic pressure bearing unit 61, thereby effectively reducing the run-out of the rotary tool 9 rotating at high speed.
