<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a conveying apparatus on a roof to easily perform installation and removal of the device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The conveying apparatus 1 on the roof is provided with: rail members 3 connecting two points of the same height on a slope surface of the roof 2 linearly so as to abut on the slope surface; and a conveying body 4 that can be loaded with loads P while traveling on the rail members 3. The conveying body 4 has a pair of trucks 5, 5 traveling on the rail member 3; a support body 6 arranged between the pair of trucks 5, 5 and loaded with the load P at the upper part; and a bar-like connecting member 7 connecting the pair of trucks 5, 5 to each other and guiding the support body 6 movably along the longitudinal direction of the rail member 3 between the pair of trucks 5, 5.
