PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip that is easily used and easily designed (manufactured) in various patterns. SOLUTION: This microchip 1 mainly includes a substrate 2 and a lid plate 3, a liquid feed passage 6 is formed in a groove shape on the substrate 2, and a recessed reaction vessel 5 is formed while being connected to the liquid feed passage 6. A close section 7 is filled in the liquid feed passage 6 in a shape where it occupies a partial section of the liquid feed passage 6 so as to block the flow in of a sample. An inlet 4 for injecting the sample is formed in the lid plate 3 while penetrating in the thickness direction. The microchip 1 has a structure where the substrate 2 is tightly stuck to the lid plate 3 so that the inlet 4 of the lid plate 3 is connected to the liquid feed passage 6 of the substrate 2, and the space closed by the close section 7, namely a part of the liquid feed passage 6 and the reaction vessel 5 are depressurized, and are kept in a state of an air pressure lower than atmosphere.
